How do I purchase a Flight Certificate?

Flight certificates are a great gift idea. The certificates are good for two years. You can order by phone. Payment can be made with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, & Checks.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made by phone or e-mail. Credit card information is required to hold your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged until the flight is completed. You may pay by check or credit card at the time of the flight.

What if my flight is cancelled?

Flights cancelled due to weather conditions can be rescheduled. The expiration date on flight certificates may be extended after a cancellation due to weather.

If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.

What should I wear?

Dress for ground temperature. It will not be any colder during your flight. We recommend jeans and athletic shoes. Open toed shoes such as sandals or flip flops and high heels are not recommended.

Where do we fly?

The flight is planned according to the wind direction on the day of the flight. In general, we fly in southeastern Jefferson County, Oldham, Shelby, and Spencer counties in Kentucky and southern Indiana.

How long is the flight?

Flights last approximately one hour.

How high and how far will we go?

A typical balloon flight is from tree top level to 2000 or 3000 feet above ground level. The distance traveled depends on the wind speed the day of the flight.

Are there any restrictions?

We recommend children be at least 12 years of age.

Consult your physician before planning a balloon flight if any of the following apply:

Pregnancy, recent surgery, artificial joints, respiratory problems, heart disease, back, or orthopedic problems.
